In fact, according to official statistics, over 7 million visitors make their way to the Eiffel Tower each year, making it one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world. The tower’s impressive height of 324 meters and its intricate lattice ironwork design have made it a symbol of France and a must-see destination for travelers.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, a trip to the Eiffel Tower is an experience that will stay with you forever.
Tickets are made available online exactly two weeks in advance. If the tickets on the official Eiffel Tower website are already sold out, here are some other websites to check:
Other options are:
°Queue early, 9 AM or earlier, to purchase day-of tickets
°The queue for the stairs is much shorter
°Go to the Montparnasse tower for an alternative high-rise view and enjoy their champagne bar
TIP: When you’re by the Eiffel Tower, look for a lady with a “vintage” camera and a giant storage trunk. She will take your photo and gives you a printout that looks like an old newspaper. It’s a great souvenir and is inexpensive - she accepts donations only.
