In 2016, the City of Paris launched the Parisculteurs program to help farmers establish agricultural projects in Paris by finding sites like rooftops, walls, parking lots, and open lots. Parisculteurs also conducts outreach and communication efforts to raise awareness and provide training opportunities to landowners, urban farmers, and the general public, such as workshops on urban agriculture and an urban farmer toolbox. This helps to strengthen similar projects beyond the scope of Parisculteurs public tenders.
