You asked, so here’s the details! More info on my new PRINT magazine.

FULL VIDEO available in my Instagram story for 24 hours and will be permanently saved in my Insta highlights.

This project started when a girlfriend insisted that the Paris Quarterly needed to be in print. I was intrigued but skeptical because the whole process seemed too daunting.

But for some reason, I couldn’t shake the idea. So I decided to see where it would lead me. I received this, the prototype. And when I held it in my hands, I had a total mindset shift toward my work, what I’ve been doing with This French Life, and our community. And I knew that I had to see this project through.

I wanted to hold myself to a higher standard. And evolve this publication into a collectible that you can peruse, write in, dream about, and be inspired by regardless of whether you’re in France or not.

I took my prototype to Brian over at the Abbey bookstore, and he said he’d immediately stock my magazine the minute it was available on the distribution network. And that was all I needed to hear. I got to work.

One of the many lessons I have learned as an immigrant in France is never to assume anything. And I didn’t want to make that mistake with the magazine publishing process. So, I decided to use the Autumn 2022 edition as my « guinea pig.» Sure enough, it took more than double the time to get the book onto the global distribution network. And, to be honest, I am still working out the kinks.

But my end goal was to figure this out BEFORE the following issue: It’s a double-edition about Christmas in Paris AND Winter in France.

In tomorrow’s post, I will share a sneak peek of the inside, how and where to buy it, and we will go live this weekend with the digital version for all annual subscribers.

If you made it this far, MERCI! I appreciate you and your support so much. Thank you for being a part of this community.
