Friends make ALL the difference, and yesterday I had the pleasure of spending an entire day with Eliana (@elianacampo_ ), Emily (@pariswinegirl ), and Janelle (@myparisportraits ). For various work projects, our priority goal was to find the famous cherry blossoms 🌸 of Parc de Sceaux. This public (and free!) park is the MOST magnificent cherry blossom show in the entire Paris region. If you can imagine, TWO entire orchards of these trees – one pink and one white. Indeed, we found them. 🥳And while the whole city of Paris is in full bloom right now, much to our dismay, 😳 the orchards at Parc de Sceaux must have a microclimate as the bud are still tightly closed and not ready to show us their beauty yet.
With Covid and all restaurants closed, we came prepared and still enjoyed a very special picnic in the shadows of the 17th-century chateau at the park. I’ll share videos and little outtakes from our excursion soon. And all of us agreed, amongst the giggles 😂 and bubbles 🍾 over our picnic lunch, that we will return in about two weeks, DETERMINED to capture the magic of the cherry blossom season. 👏
