Walk Paris
With the return of warmer weather, hour-long walks through Paris get more enjoyable –but sidewalks also get very crowded! To escape the throngs of tourists in the Eiffel-Montmartre-Marais triangle, why not go for an audio walk in the more hidden parts of the city?

It’s the excited tourists that make every day so special, as I rediscover Paris through their eyes! For me, strolling through the streets of Paris is like walking through the most magnificent outdoor art gallery! It’s all in the details - the architecture, the wrought iron balconies, the engravings around a windowsill! My rule is to always look up and we are certain to discover something that I may have never noticed before! And THAT excitement and THAT beauty gives me my daily dose of « pinch me » moments! My Paris Portraits
The sun and lovely temperatures have been dropping hints, and now we eagerly await the next clue: the blossoming of the magnificent magnolia trees.
Magnolia trees are the first to bloom in Paris, and their beautiful pink flowers are normally the long awaited sign that Spring is approaching! The magnolia season typically kicks off in March and lasts until early April, weather permitting.
In Paris, there are a few spots where these majestic trees truly steal the show. If you're planning a March trip to Paris, make sure to add these five locations to your must-visit list:

Je m'apelle Louise Prichard and I host the podcast that keeps your Frenchy Vibes fluttering, the Loulabelle's FrancoFiles! It's now almost five years since the LFF podcast started and what initially was a way to keep up my French connection during the difficult COVID years down under in Australia, has become so very much more! I love the warm and familiar Loulabelle's community we're creating, with listeners right around the world sharing in our love of France and all things French together.
In each podcast episode we chat with guests to satisfy our inner Frenchy through their unique stories. The LFF podcast has featured Michelin star chefs, Paris jazz singers, French authors, a Provence wine master, French celebrities in Australia, expats living in France, French historians, Paris florists, Paris Lido dancers, international models, Cannes film folk, château owners, photographers and with over 140 episodes the list goes on and on! Guests are from all over the world with some more well-known than others, but all with a lovely French story to tell.
The Loulabelle’s FrancoFiles is now heard in over 95 countries and has had some wonderful feedback from listeners about how it has kept them buoyant through tough times. I’m loving the fact that it continues to help people in some small way to keep their dreams alive after the recent (and sometimes ongoing) difficult Covid period.
Coming up, there’s so much French fun in 2024 with a new Loulabelle’s FrancoFiles website recently launched, that will soon have an online shop, some special offers from previous podcast guests as well as a super special members section too. But the thing I’m most looking forward to is later this year in September. Some Loulabelle’s listeners are joining me for a beautifully curated boutique Normandy Retreat at my dear friend Jane Hiscock’s Chateau du Jonquay. (Get in touch if this is your thing!) We’re even having a special pastry class in the château kitchens from pastry chef extraordinaire Molly Wilkinson. Whilst I'm in France I’ll also head off on a few roadtrips, exploring more French regional areas to write my E-Guides for getting around country France. And the best part? Catching up with the fabulous Shannon Pratuch on my travels! Connecting with such beautiful like minded people is food for my FrancoFile soul.

La Cuisine Provençale
La Cuisine Provençale is a charming kitchen in the historic center of St Remy de Provence. We offer private and collective cooking classes focused on classical French and refined traditional Provençale recipes.
Our philosophy:
We source all of our ingredients from local farmers and producers. We strive to use sustainable free range meats and line caught fish. The menu is seasonal so varies greatly depending upon what is available. All of our food is home-made by ourselves either in the class together or has been made in previous classes, including our stock reductions and pastries.
We are very happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions, and love special requests. Children are very welcome and we are happy to offer a variety of foods which most children love.
In general we make 7-10 recipes per class including several aperitif items (small bites) a starter, main and dessert as well as 1 or 2 sauces.
