If you have been around here for a while, then you’ll recognize this beautiful face. 🥰 But one thing I want to make clear is that you should add her to your Paris budget (and it only takes one hour!!). Why? Because you are here! In FRANCE!! A trip of the lifetime. And you should have GOOD, frameable photos – to go on your fridge, in the frame, on the Christmas cards, in your wallet, as your phone saver. PUT THEM EVERYWHERE!!! And Janelle is your gal pal to take those shots.
In July 2017, Janelle and her husband packed up their life in New Zealand and flew to the other side of the world to begin a new adventure – a life in Paris! Janelle is a trained foster care social worker (and that training spills over into the care and comfort she brings to her photoshoot experiences!!). But she knew that coming to Paris would mean putting her previous career on hold and dive deep into a new one – photography.
Janelle says, “There is just something in the air here – the creativity, joy, and love that comes out of this city is purely magical! And I am so thankful that I get to spend my days helping other people fall in love with Paris as much as I have.”
But let’s go back to that photoshoot idea. Here’s the thing, no matter how good you are behind your iPhone, there is nothing like having pro photos. But one of the things I have learned from Janelle is that it doesn’t have to be expensive, fancy, or for a special occasion. She has changed my approach entirely to photoshoots because I never knew they could be so fun and approachable. The best way to think about Janelle’s shoots is that you have a super fun new friend showing you around town ANNNND she happens to have a fabulous camera in hand.
Seriously. Don’t worry one bit about your outfit, hair, makeup. It’s not like that. Just have a little fun & walk away with the BEST photos of you… in PARIS!!!
