Coucou, darlings! I am frequently asked what skincare products I use and, to be honest, my skin (and body) likes as little intervention as possible. So, I don’t use a lot of soaps, toners, or anything like that. But it does love to be hydrated and the hard water in France is a killer!

For those who recently moved here or are thinking about it, do consider adding a charcoal filter to your shower. I see countless new posts every year from newbie expats asking about their skin issues and hair loss due to the water, especially in Paris. I know of some ladies who rinse their hair with bottled water instead of using the tap!

Here are a list of great French skincare products to stock up on while you are here, and where to buy them!

La Roche Posay
Avène
A313
Bioderma
Nuxe
Caudalie
Vichy
Laluset
Embryolisse
Melvita
PhytoPhanere

Where to buy skincare products in Paris:
You can purchase skincare products at any pharmacy in France, but City Pharma is one of the most popular for tourists. If you go here, visit first thing in the morning so it’s less crowded and the staff can help you.

26 Rue du Four, 75006 Paris

For me, I prefer the pharmacy next to BHV in the Marais.
2 Rue des Archives, 75004 Paris

What brand do I use personally? Skinceuticals for my face and neck and CeraVe for my body.
