I recently was asked a question about what to wear…

I recently was asked a question about what to wear to restaurants in Paris: “Do people usually dress up for dinner?” Generally speaking, unless it’s a casual café environment, yes. Paris is a city that loves to show off style, and wearing something fun and unique at night while you’re out helps set the mood. But that can be a bit challenging when traveling because it requires extra space in your luggage.

Just a pair of heels and some interesting jewelry can easily elevate an outfit. Some restaurants have a dress code – I have seen tourists try to get into the Bar Hemingway at the @ritzparis in shorts and open-toed shoes! Ack!

But what if you are going to a Michelin restaurant, for example? And you want to wear a killer dress 💃🏼 but don’t have the budget or room in your bag for that sort of thing? Here’s a hack for you: @unerobeunsoir

I ADORE this company. If you are here for longer than a week, this is your best solution for dress and bag rentals. You can book a dress in advance and have it delivered on your chosen day. If you are worried about the fit, you can schedule a visit to their STUNNING showroom for free and try on a few dresses to find the perfect fit. Plus, they have cute little purses to rent too. I am wearing a beautiful @ralphlauren dress that I fell in love with at their office in these photos.

And the best thing about it? There’s practically nothing to do after you wear the pieces. The dress comes with a return bag and shipping label. Just march up to the nearest post office and drop the bag off. It’s just that easy!

This post is NOT sponsored! I am an avid fan, and I love hacks like this when traveling. Bring your favorite heels, and you’ll be the star of the show!

Bisous and big hugs from France,
And happy New Year to all of you beautiful stars,
Shannon

🇫🇷 France 🇫🇷, forever.
