On Thursday, I joined a memorable press trip to Monet's house in Giverny, France.

The entire property was closed to the public, and we had free access to everything – no restrictions in the house, the flowerbeds and gardens of Clos Normand, and the water gardens with Monet's precious water lilies. We had it all to ourselves.

There are a few things that make this tour so extraordinary. The first is that it is a nonstop tour, complete and unedited live stream starting inside Monet's house. We discover the entire space without restriction and no one else in the rooms.

Second is that we had unrestricted access to the flowerbeds. They usually are roped off to protect them from the many tourists who visit each year. Monet's property is Normandy's second most visited destination, second to Mont Saint-Michel.

The third unique feature of this tour is the time of day. We were there in the evening, as the sun was going down, and the scenes of Monet's water gardens are breathtaking. The way they glow while the setting sun is simply gorgeous.

Finally, at the end of the video, I take you through a space never seen by video tour. It is not open to the public! It is an art atelier that Monet converted on the property. He built a studio when he found the one inside his house too small.

I downloaded the live stream this weekend, remastered it, and added more facts and interesting information about this property as unobtrusive subtitles.

It is impossible to express my intense gratitude and blessings for having had this glorious, unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I hope you enjoy this video, and I wish you a wonderful Sunday with your friends and family.

Bon dimanche!
