Day Itinerary with my Fav Museum.

A girlfriend is in town and has not yet visited my all-time favorite museum in Paris, the Musée @jacquemartandre. It used to be the private home of Edouard André and Nélie Jacquemart, and it’s a beautiful mansion with the BEST temporary exhibitions in Paris.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the stunning salon before parting ways.

From there, I went to @labnf for a work project and quickly walked through the new Molière exhibition going through mid-January. FYI, the National Library of France is open to the public, and no library card is needed to visit.

Stepping across the street, I cut through Galerie Vivienne, one of the prettiest passages in Paris, to see the holiday lights.

And a half block away is the Palais Royale and @cafekitsune for a festive chai latte and then jumped onto the metro to head home.

Want to do the same? Here’s how I would map out this day’s itinerary.

° Day before, purchase tickets to Musée Jacquemart André online.
° 10 AM – Arrive and visit the mansion and temporary exhibit.
° 11:45 AM – The salon opens for lunch.
° 1:30 PM – Take the Miromesnil line 9 metro to the Richelieu-Drouot stop, and walk to the library.
° 2 PM – Visit BNF and its temporary exhibit or museum.
° 2:45 PM – Walk through Galerie Vivienne. This can take as long as you like if you want to shop.
° 3:15 PM – Walk a half block up to Palais Royale and grab a warm beverage at Café Kitsuné.
° 3:45 PM – Wander through the park.
° 4:15 PM – Cross the street to the Louvre and explore the Tuileries garden before returning to your hotel to freshen up for the night.

Bisous to all of you darlings,
