𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 + 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆.

Yesterday, Mimi of @belleinspirationparis and I were chatting over lunch about our favorite Paris museums. Our list is the same – we love quiet, romantic, beautiful spaces, smaller crowds, and well-curated shows.

If all of that sounds like you too, then you’ll love today’s YT video and my free Montmartre itinerary. 👏

VIDEO: Musée Romantique. While the permanent collection is free to visit, the paintings in this video are in the current temporary exhibition called Romantic Heroines, available until September 4th. Thanks to a selection of around a hundred works – paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, and works of art – the exhibition invites the public to discover heroines revisited or invented by romanticism : Heroines of the past , Heroines of fiction and Heroines on stage.

WHO: This experience is for anyone who enjoys romantic gardens, art, French culture, history (and croissants!).

WHAT: The focus of this itinerary and video is around the Montmartre area of Paris, ending at the Musée Romantique.

METRO: Saint-Georges (line 12), Pigalle (line 2 or 12), Blanche (line 2)

SCHEDULE: (Please always double check opening times and exceptional closures such as holidays.) Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on Mondays.

COST: For the visit of the permanent collections, the access is free for all and without preliminary reservation. Temporary exhibits are paid.
