A Glycine Dream - The gardens of the Grande Mosquée de Paris, France.

A mother was visiting with her two adult sons, and one had the biggest grin on his face. From ear to ear, he was totally captivated by this heaven on earth. “It smells so wonderful,” he said absently, to no one in particular, “I could stay here all day.” I nodded in silent agreement, and my heart settled in for an afternoon at peace, finding tranquility and joy amongst the wisteria, budding roses, and palm trees.

The Grande Mosquée is of no secret to me. I visit the gardens year-round. But it’s so very special to time a visit when the glycine is in bloom. The ice flowers fragrantly cascade over ancient vines and creep along the stunning emerald-tiled courtyard. The ornate square minaret, 33 meters high, stands proudly in the distance.

Tomorrow, I will share a day itinerary that includes this precious space.

Below are the details you need to plan a visit to this exquisite jardin.
