VIDEO VIRTUAL ROAD TRIP – Baux-de-Provence, France

ROAD TRIP DAY SIXTEEN: I have all sorts of fun little things to share with you today!

We are back on the road today and headed towards Sete, a lovely port village on the Mediterranean Sea. We are stopping over to visit with some close friends. Their apartment is right on the canal, where you can watch the famous jousting games from the balcony.

After lunch, we will be continuing to Carcassonne. We rented a house at the base of the ramparts and will be staying just two nights before we continue to our next, more extended stop at Saint-Emilion.

TODAY’S STORY: After two weeks (and multiple previous stays) in Provence, I reflect a bit on why my husband and I chose not to live in this region. While we love to visit, I think it is important to share why we have decided not to stay. Perhaps some of our decisions will resonate with you – I believe that many of us romanticize this region, and there are opportunities to take a deeper look at this perspective.

I also share a little montage of videos and photos of my visit to Les-Baux-de-Provence with you.

TODAY’S SWIPE & SAVE: Swipe through today’s post to see the gorgeous wildlife in the Camargue National Park. We chose to be careful about where we took the girls, Pearl and Rose, so we did not disturb the wildlife. But I highly suggest that you put on some walking shoes and explore the trails of the Camargue. I love the flamingos!!

I wish you an excellent start to your week, and, as always, thank you SO much for being here!

Bisous and big hugs 🤗 from France,

🇫🇷 France 🇫🇷, forever.
