It’s International Women’s Month, Week 3!! We started off Week 1 with the patron saint of Paris, the brave Saint Geneviève. We then learned about Olympe de Gouges in Week 2. This week, in chronological order, we move up in time to 1864.
I am sharing this series in five parts. And today, I introduce you to an artist! We start off with a short video to share who this lady is, and we find the first place she lived in Paris. 🏠
This story is not a happy one. 😬This woman dies in loneliness, poverty, and obscurity. 👉👉But I tell her story because it is vitally important we well remember to lift each other up, support our talents, sing our praises, and never, ever let others fall lost to the wayside.
I cheer all of you on to a successful week, full of light, happiness, hope, and good health. 🥳
Bisous and big hugs 🤗from France,
Shannon
