Coulée Verte René-Dumont:
This park, also known as the Promenade Plantée, is located on a former elevated railway viaduct in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The park opened in 1993 and has since become a popular destination for locals and tourists. The park was designed by architect Philippe Mathieux and horticulturist Jacques Vergely and features a variety of plants, flowers, and trees. The park also boasts stunning city views, making it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll or a romantic picnic.

Square Gabriel Pierné:
Located in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, this park is named after the French composer Gabriel Pierné. The park was designed in the early 20th century by landscape architect Achille Duchêne and features a variety of trees and plants, as well as several fountains and sculptures.

Jardin des Plantes:
One of the oldest parks in Paris, the Jardin des Plantes, was originally founded in the 17th century as a medicinal herb garden. Today, the park is home to various gardens and collections, including a rose garden, a labyrinth, and a collection of bonsai trees. The park also houses several museums.

Parc de Sceaux:
As we’ve already discussed, Parc de Sceaux is a stunning park just outside Paris. Designed by André Le Nôtre in the 17th century, the park features a variety of gardens, sculptures, and architectural features. One of the park’s most impressive structures is the Château de Sceaux, which served as a residence for the dukes of Maine. FYI, I offer a free downloadable guide to this park!

Why not take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and explore the beauty of these wonderful green spaces? You won’t be disappointed!
