New YouTube video: Paris Left bank Christmas market tours!

Location 1: Place Saint-Michel, Paris, France
Location 2: Place René Viviani, Paris, France

Distance: 4 minute walk

Mobility: Flat, level, wheelchair & stroller accessible with aid

Language: Most vendors speak limited english

Money: Euros cash, some accept debit cards

Dates: The Notre Dame Christmas market is only open until December 26th HOWEVER, they are open Christmas Eve and Day, unlike other Parisian markets.

The St Michel market ends 25th December.

Tips: I much prefer the Notre Dame Christmas market over the St Michel, or most others in Paris. The Notre Dame market is small, quaint, but also the perfect balance of food and French crafts.

Please always confirm that the products you are purchasing are made in France!

A few reminders about cash & money in France:

1 – If you want to arrive with a more significant sum of cash, have your local bank prepare the euros for you before you depart.
2 – If you forget and want to exchange, you can do it at your home or destination airport, but the fees are high.
3 – The best option is to use a *safe* ATM to withdraw euros. 👉 Notify your bank before departure. And expect bank fees with each withdrawal, a daily maximum of your home country limit vs. the Euro exchange. Plan accordingly.
4 – For me, the safest ATMs are located INSIDE the post offices, open Mon through Friday and Saturday mornings (in Paris).
